Oxbow Air River 9'2"

Tested and developed by our specialist rider team, the River Air 9’2 x 36’’ is extremely stable, great fun, and is ideal for downstream/white water river riding.

At 9’2’’ long, the River Air is compact, rigid (inflated to 15psi), tough and manoeuvrable. With its 36’’ width and 6’’ depth it’s super stable and able to power through standing waves, whirlpools and back-currents. Four handles, well positioned along the length of the rails, make it easy to get back on after a fall. You can also use the handles for attaching other equipment using straps. The front and rear rocker lines have been refined to keep the board above water going through holes and prevent it wallowing under waves. The 4 short, flexible fins are the ideal configuration for shallow rapids whilst retaining excellent manoeuvrability. The universal central fin, which is longer, gives stability and steering in deeper water. The long fin adds to the board’s versatility on the flat (it’s also a great yoga board!).

Oxbow AIR inflatable paddleboards feature ultra-light, durable and extremely rigid construction for performance typically found only in rigid boards. By adding a non-stretch stringer along the top and bottom center line together with double layer rail construction we’ve reduced weight, dramatically increased rigidity and improved ease of re-rolling and packing the board after use. The AIR models inflate to a rigid 15psi and come with an oversize wheeled backpack for ease of transport and storage, rugged two-way pump with gauge, packing straps, removable center fin with easy on/off thumb screw, repair kit and valve wrench.
